  Ty Mawr is set in a lovely location, however what let's it down is the service. We were initially sat down with menus but weren't informed certain dishes were off the menu until 15 minutes later when they came to take our order.
  
  The food itself was OK. I had the curry which was largely disappointing and lacking any sort of flavour and came with a burnt naan bread.
  
  Then, it took 45 minutes to receive the bill. Our waitress seemed far more concerned with chatting, laughing and guffawing (VERY loudly) with the table next to us and recounting her life story.
  
  Don't be fooled by the nice location and table service and slightly up market menu; this is a typical chain pub.

  Beautiful views and tasty food but awful service. Order paté for the starter and you're given a jar of very delicious paté, but no bread or suggestion of needing to order a 2nd bread dish to compliment the first. The service was slow and when a waitress said "I'll be back with some cutlery" you expect her to come back... She never reappeared. It was poor service for the price.

  Went here for a cheeky weekday evening drink with the girlfriend. Pub is located just outside Cardiff in a rural setting.
